As an Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for;
• Following and administering treatment of patients as per Physicians orders
• Daily review of patient progress
• Communicating changes in patient status to Supervising Physical Therapist in order for him/her to make appropriate changes in the patient care and treatment plans.
Candidate Requirements
Summary of Qualifications • Minimum of a Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Education program.
• Licensure or Registered in the state that he/she practices.
* One year of current (licensed) experience in the past two years
• Current BLS-C (CPR for Healthcare Providers)
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English
• Keyboarding and basic computer skills. Computer charting/documentation program knowledge a plus.
• Able to communicate with interdisciplinary teams and community resources.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists.
