Mobile Recruiting
Did you know there are three times as many mobile phone users as Internet Users? Did you know that most job seekers view companies that utilize modern recruiting techniques more favorable than those that use older, low-tech recruiting methods?
Using the Nationwide Mobile Network to communicate with prospective new-hires provides another no-cost or very low-cost recruiting channel. SMS Technology, (better known as Simple Messaging System Technology, or Text Messaging) to communicate job information to individuals that have registered to receive job alerts or company information by mobile phone is both easy and economical.
Mobile Recruiting with HireNet
HireNet provides each visitor to the HireNet Website, to our customers' HireNet-powered Landing Pages, or our customers' HireNet-powered Career Centers, with the option of receiving Job Alerts by Mobile Phone. Job Seekers use keywords to specify the type of jobs of interest (electrical engineer, nursing, etc.) and a zip code or city / state combination to specify a geographic preference, if any.
As new jobs are posted matching the Job Alerts created by one or more individuals that have "opted in" to receive SMS Job Alerts, the individual(s) receive a text message advising of the new opportunity, and how to retrieve the full job posting. Once the full posting is retrieved, job seekers can complete an online application which is submitted directly to the Recruiter. Job Seekers with "Smart Phones" can view full job postings and apply directly through their mobile device.
Job Seekers can "Opt Out" at any time if they are no longer interested in receiving SMS job alerts. Recruiters can selectively block SMS Alerts to individuals that do not fit the Company's hiring requirements.
